Collection for Refugees

Worried about the refugee crisis but not sure how to help? Why not contribute to St Mary’s Church and the Coppice School’s collection for St Chad’s Sanctuary and Narthex Refugee Resource Centre who are helping refugees who have recently arrived in Birmingham.

Please bring only the items listed below, or cash, to St Mary’s Church (to the rear of the Coppice School) between 8.30am and 12 noon on Wednesday 14th, Friday 16th and Sunday 18th October

Items Needed (good quality second-hand or new items):
Men’s Clothing: T shirts – small and medium sizes, jeans sizes 30-32, fleece jackets, jumpers, trainers/shoes sizes 5-8, new briefs – small/medium, socks, gloves
Women’s underwear – small/medium
Clothes for 0-6 years, including winter coats but not hats, scarves or mittens
Toiletries: Soap, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Disposable razors, Shaving foam
Food: tinned fish, tinned vegetables (especially beans, carrots and potatoes), tinned fruit, rice, pasta, cooking oil, sugar, salt, tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits , tinned/microwavable sponge puddings
Toys – for newborns only eg rattles, soft toys
Bedding – Single/double size
Pots and pans (no crockery)
