		Kate Brown is collecting essential items for the craft at Lea Abbey camp this summer. If you can spare any of the following please contact Kate buttons - lots of them - all different shapes and sizes fabric remnants - funky, floral, stripy, gingham, bold patterns whatever!! wallpaper remnants - would love some of these new trendy prints—anyone been decorating recently mosaic tiles scraps of ribbon old plastic bags!! - we are going to be knitting our own recycled bags from old carrier bags - very eco-friendly!! - so any bags - different supermarkets etc so different colours - if you wanted to be super nice you could pre cut them into strips before camp to help me!! (Make sure it has no holes or tears and cut off the handles. Start cutting 3cm down from the top of the carrier, going in a spiral motion ? as if you were peeling an apple. You will end up with one big long strip of polythene 3cm wide. - we need 20 of these per bag so get cutting!!)
