During the cororovirus outbreak our activities have moved online. Contact Ria at email@example.com for more details.
At St Mary’s children matter in worship as much as adults, so we work hard to make our Sunday Kids groups high quality. At our 10.30am service there are a number of groups for our younger members, run by a committed and enthusiastic team and headed up by our Youth, Children and Families Minister Ria Taylor:
- A crèche for babies and toddlers
- Seeds – for 3-7s
- Shoots – for 7-11s
- Rooted – for 11-14s (roughly every other week)
Typically children begin the service with their parents for some worship, and perhaps something fun, before going out to their groups together. When they come back there is often an opportunity to show the congregation what they have been doing.
We sometimes have an All Age service at 10.30am, when children stay in for the whole service and content is geared for people of all ages. Services tend to be shorter and sharper, with games, drama and lots of fun, and typically fall around festivals like Christmas and Mothering Sunday. 10.30am services are usually All Age throughout the Summer Holidays.
