Our services have moved online as we are unable to meet during the coronovirus outbreak. Watch with us on Sundays at 10.30am and Wednesdays at 11.30am, or just watch at a time that suits you.
As well as these services we have a short weekly ‘Thought on Thursday’ from Rev Manda.
You can find our services on our website in the Service Recordings section or watch them on our YouTube Channel* St Mary’s Wythall Tech.
*Tip: if your TV has a YouTube option this is a good way to watch. Search ‘St Mary’s Wythall’ in the YouTube search box and then select St Mary’s Wythall Tech.
Sunday Kids Activities
Ria is putting together a weekly activity sheet, on the theme of the Sunday service. These suggest ways that especially our younger members can explore the story each week; some ideas will appeal to adults too. They are designed to go alongside the service, so that the whole family watches together. Click here for Sunday 9 August activities or click here for Sunday 16 August activities.
Bible Reading 5x5x5
This year, a number of people from St Mary’s are following the Bible reading plan ‘5x5x5’. This enables you to read the whole New Testament in one year, reading a chapter a day (about 5 minutes), 5 days a week. If you’d like to join in with this you can start at any point. Click here to download the 5x5x5 plan.
A huge thank you to the 84 people who completed our survey on the reopening of the church building. The collated results, with comment and analysis from Rev Manda and the PCC decisions from the meeting on 16th July 2020, are available by clicking here
In brief, we are working towards one service in church per week from (provisionally) 23rd August, at 9.30am. The online service will continue, and will still be our main service for the moment. We will not be opening for private prayer. More details will follow nearer reopening.
At the moment our building remains closed. BUT our life as a church continues in terms of prayer, teaching and caring for one another – for more information about this click here
Local assistance during Covid-19 is being coordinated by Wythall Parish Council, who are leafletting all homes in the parish. Click here for their leaflet.
