Our services have moved online as we are unable to meet during the coronovirus outbreak. Watch with us on Sundays at 10.30am and Wednesdays at 11.30am, or just watch at a time that suits you.
As well as these services we have a short weekly ‘Thought on Thursday’ from Rev Manda.
You can find our services on our website in the Service Recordings section or watch them on our YouTube Channel* St Mary’s Wythall Tech.
*Tip: if your TV has a YouTube option this is a good way to watch. Search ‘St Mary’s Wythall’ in the YouTube search box and then select St Mary’s Wythall Tech.
We are taking part in the Church of England Birmingham’s online holiday club from 21st – 23rd July. It’s for Primary School aged children – click here for more information!
Alpha provides a chance to ask big questions. For some coronavirus and lockdown has led to questions such as ‘What is important in life?’ ‘How can I live more simply and with purpose?’ and a whole raft of other queries. Our Alpha course starts online on 8th July. Find out more here.
Sunday Kids Activities
Ria is putting together a weekly activity sheet, on the theme of the Sunday service. We hope all the family will watch our online service together, but this gives some ideas for the younger members of the family to do during the sermon! If you’re on our email list you should have had the sheet by email, or click here to download it!
Covid-19 update: With the government continuing to ease the lockdown, rules for churches are also changing, slowly. Rev Manda will keep us informed, through notices at Sunday online services as well as this news sheet, of any changes we may be able to make here at St Mary’s over the coming weeks. At the moment our building remains closed. BUT our life as a church continues in terms of prayer, teaching and caring for one another – for more information about this click here
Local assistance during Covid-19 is being coordinated by Wythall Parish Council, who are leafletting all homes in the parish. Click here for their leaflet.
